Bollywood dances have gone through several modes and influences. This also relates to the type of films and changes that is influenced by the new age directors. There is more to the nuances and groove in the dance style as it is reflective about refreshing steps and ideas. Creating a sequence song for a Bollywood film is a big challenge for choreographer. Each dance director comes with a certain experience that is distinguished but there again novelty is the flavor of each film.

Kids generally show keen interest in dance numbers which is popularized by music channels. Most of the promotions for new movies are also related to songs and dances. There are several dance classes that teach Bollywood dancing to toddlers and also teenagers. Choreographers select their best performer and groom them for future performances. Special classes are also designed for working ladies and home makers.

Choosing a dance class has to adhere to a comfort level. Kids above the age of four usually adjust to a new environment easily as they are already school going and in many ways independent. The class should be preferably close to vicinity to facilitate easy travel. Complete enquiries need to be made about the schedule of classes and also fee structure. Advance fees have to be enquired to avoid confusion.

Classes are conducted on group basis which is done at a flat charge. For private sessions one can enquire about the same and it is generally done at a higher cost. Some choreographers or teachers also make available their time to teach you on weekends at your home. The sessions usually start with a proper warm up, introduction to basic steps, practice and then the dance is rehearsed on original beats.

Remix numbers are quite popular and full of style. Rumba, Latin American dancing, cha-cha-cha and Indian folk dances are a comprehensive unit in Bollywood style of dancing. The classes usually give a fair chance for the student to explore their typical talent and also improvise the same. Most classes conduct annual stage shows and other performances before a large audience and these benefits students of all ages to exhibit their talent.
