Do it yourself
It used to be that people were put off the idea of cosmetic dentistry by the sheer expense. But with a whole range of quality teeth whitening kits now available to buy in chemists and supermarkets, everyone can have a winning smile and a set of teeth they’re proud of. You can now create your own
If you constantly try to keep your teeth hidden from the outside world, it can destroy your confidence. Social situations can become a grind and you probably run a mile when someone tries to take your photo. You’ve probably just accepted that you’ll never be proud of your teeth and you’ll just have to live with it. But with a little time and effort, it is possible to really improve your smile.
Make sure you brush your teeth at least twice a day (three if you have the time and inclination).
Floss your teeth every day, as brushing on its own won’t get rid of the really stubborn bits of food that hide away between your teeth. This is important, even on those nights when you’re exhausted and just want to have a quick brush and jump into bed.
Cut down on the coffee: coffee and red wine are particularly bad for staining teeth over a long period of time so, if you’re really serious about your blinding white smile, then it might be time to switch to another drink.
Mouthwash can also help to dislodge food and it will also freshen your breath, giving you even more reason to smile and show off your teeth when you smile.
If you stick to these rules after teeth whitening, your winning smile should last you for years.
